She is an associate trainer for SITRA & LVSC. The bulk of the training Sarah has been involved in during the past 6 years has been in supporting organisations gain required skills to meet Supporting People standards. Additionally she facilitates a popular course for LVSC on Negotiation skills – a core objective of this course is supporting participants prepare bids and tenders. Before becoming freelance Sarah worked for 14 years within the voluntary/community sector in a variety of senior capacities.

Sarah has particular expertise in delivering training and working with providers to deliver service improvements.

About Frank Curran

Frank established the company in 2002. He has worked in the social care sector for more than twenty years. He has considerable operational experience but has also worked extensively with Local Authorities in the commissioning and procurement of social care and housing related support services.

Frank has acted as Lead Officer for four SP programmes and has led strategic reviews for SP programmes, substance misuse and learning disability services. He is currently undertaking a strategic review of commissioning arrangements for substance misuse services as well as managing an Individual Budgets pilot.

He has particular expertise in helping both local authorities and providers prepare for the personalisation agenda. He is been actively engaged with commissioning and strategic planning.
Project News: July 2010 - Completed a major piece of work in relation to care quality standards across 12 local authorities in the North East region. As part of this project we have had considerable contact with local authority commissioners, performance and quality assurance officers as well as nearly 1000 providers of care services in the north east. We effectively used a web based approach to support communications/stakeholder engagement activity for this project. The website can be accessed at this link:
