Clare Davies

Clare has worked for SP Solutions on a number of successful projects since 2006.

Clare has worked in the supported housing sector for over 18 years as a support worker and service manager within several provider organisations, as a Supporting People programme officer and more recently as a trainer and consultancy manager.

Clare has worked with a range of tenants/clients with care & support needs including single homeless, rough sleepers, and people with chronic & enduring mental health support needs.

Clare has worked for three Supporting People Teams including two London Boroughs (Lewisham & Haringey) and worked with Oldham SP as their User Involvement Officer before moving full time into freelance training & consultancy in Oct 2006.

Clare brings considerable experience of managing large Supporting People and supported housing service user involvement contracts providing independent advocacy projects, inclusive consultation & involvement strategies, developing and supporting service user panels, hosting service user events, improving service user involvement in the production of information and conducting creative research projects with previously excluded service users.

Clare currently sits on the TPAS Connecting People Awards Judging Panel (with Sitra and Housing Diversity Network) to judge national nominations around best practice in Supporting People, Youth Involvement and Equality & Diversity projects
