Amanda Tooth

Amanda has a specialist background in criminal justice which spans nearly two decades. She has experience of both commissioning and developing services within the statutory sector and operational management within the voluntary sector. She has considerable experience of strategic development and partnership working. Amanda had significant involvement in the Supporting People Programme representing London Probation on 16 SP Commissioning Bodies across London. In this role she represented the needs of both young and adult offenders and was involved in commissioning strategic reviews and developing new services.

Since June 2008 Amanda has been a freelance consultant focusing on criminal justice, housing, substance misuse and social exclusion. During this time she has led on a variety of reviews, evaluations and research projects for a wide range of client groups. Amanda has particular experience of advising and supporting; providers, commissioners and partnerships on matters relating to criminal justice, strategic development, service development, policy and good practice.

Amanda is also an experienced facilitator, trainer and coach with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
